holding a town hall meeting regarding
aquatic nuisance plant species such as
non-native water milfoil to allow the
general public to ask questions about
issues including control measures.
A representative from the Michigan DEQ
will be speaking and available to answer
questions. Senator Casperson will also
summarize Senate Bill 444, a bill he
introduced to help streamline the DEQ
permit process and provide more options
for locals to control aquatic nuisance
plant species.
